FICTION WRITING
TALES OF TODAY,
DREAMS OF TOMORROW
This collection of short stories pendulates between present and far future, actual biography and speculative fiction, people and non-human life, prose and poetry in an attempt to create an emotional connection to our common future. The visions depicted in the book are neither black nor white, neither utopian nor dystopian, but wonderfully suprising, vibrant and hopeful. Because our future will not be better or worse than the present. Simply different. Readers are encouraged to imagine such alternative futures for themselves.
It is available only in German.
THE FABLE OF THE BEE KING
This parable about the mysteries of thriving introduces listeners to a tyrannical king, a courageous girl and a magical beehive that collects the nectar of dreams from people yearning for a better life.
It has been featured in an oral storytelling performance at the Hearth Summit, organized by the CAN Network and Georgetown University Wellbeing Project, funded by Ashoka, Impact Hub, and the Porticus Foundation and hosted by Pioneers of Change. The storytelling performance was an integrated element of an art exhibition on ecological belonging and regeneration, which also featured an interactive installation, soundscapes and shadow play.
